The Vancura defence requires the defending king on g7 or h7. With the king on h6, the attacker plays Rh8+ and a7, deflecting the king from the rook.
Black has the rook on the sixth rank attacking the a6-pawn, the classic Vancura set-up, but the black king is on h6 rather than g7. That misplacement allows a tactical finish.
